Ysabelle Dean BA lives in Nar Nar Goon, Victoria, on a 50-acre natural lifestyle horse agistment property. She is a screenwriter of 20 years' experience whose work has received international recognition for professional excellence. When not working on scripts she uses her craft to educate the public about various animal welfare causes. Horses and classical dressage have been her lifelong passions, and her own four horses, who are among Julie's clientele, also live a happy, natural barefoot lifestyle.
In 2004 Ysabelle was invited to become the Australian Associate Clinician for Dr Robert Cook, FRCVS, PhD, the US-based veterinary surgeon best known for five decades of research which culminated in the development of a crossover design bitless bridle (The Bitless Bridle TM), a pain-free and highly successful alternative to bits and other bitless bridle designs. Through AEA, The Bitless Bridle is now available for sale in Australia, and Ysabelle is able to run seminars and demonstrations.
Ysabelle is also one of the original founders of AEBM Inc.
Australian Equine Arts (AEA) is the partnership formed by Julie and Ysabelle to support and promote only those equine and/or equestrian enterprises which genuinely give top priority to the comfort, health and happiness of horses used for any human activity.
